I wonder when/if that will happen. I'm sure there must be some out there. But, as of now, some of these horror books are very hard to find in HG.

By the way, I agree with you on the 231 and 236. Two awesome covers. Wish I owned either one of them. Do you have a 236 in HG?

 

The inks look very bright on yours. Is it as glossy as it looks? Out of all 5 copies I had this year none were that glossy. Nice copy.

Yes. This is a very nice copy. Sharp corners. White pages. No spine stress. But that staple pop at the bottom is too bad. It is not really noticable though. It's like the staple was never there to begin with, although there are two small staple holes. Strange. I don't know if it would receive a "Qualified" grade or just a lower grade because of that. Any ideas? At any rate, I just bought a very nice copy of this book last week!!! Can't wait to get it. In the meantime, here's a larger scan of my staple pop copy...

It would probably get a qualified. A Witching Hour 2 in the last Clink auction was a cgc9.2 qualified with a bottom popped staple.

What's to spill? He has a box of em. I have no idea if they are worth a or not though. Similar to Cal's Iron Man and Subby fetish. My 9.0 copy I sold looked better than the 9.2 in the CL auction IMO.

Too bad Jack is dead I would try my hardest to win the book, crack the slab and get it signed and sent in for SS just to see the look on everyones face. Oh well I guess I could try and get Stan Lee to sign it since people like to have him sign books he didn't work on.

Of course, most of the folks I've dealt with know I've historically paid very strong prices for htf material...even DiceX should know that...on the flip side I'm just as cheap as the rest of 'em for more common stuff.

 

I've in fact given up on HOM. I'm currently enjoying new genres and titles...and some of them don't include *gasp* DCs. I'll just sit here and wait patiently. Maybe a blue light special?
