what a great deal!!!poke2.gif

i'm happy with a F/VF for $6.00 though...

A lesson on how to turn a $870 purchase into a little bit more.

Clink minimun bid is $1000 (even though I can't see a sensonable person taking the bait), so lob off fee's, and freight, the guy will break even right away.

But I simply don't seeing anyone taking this offer.

I placed a buy order at 7:10 pm PST, approx. 15 mins after it was listed. I was informed today that the book is not available as someone hit the BIN before me. I thought that once I placed my buy order that the book would show as "sale pending", but there was nothing showing. Oh well, no biggie.

Good ole bobcat. I love his books. I hope the person who owns that book realizes that book is more common than surrounding issues. I'm ok with my palty 9.4 issue.

Anyone else notice that a HOM 174 9.4 issue sold lickity split for $1k?

I saw that. That was over $260 more then the last recorded cgc 9.4 sale of $737 on Feb of 2004.

Well technically, I bought a HOM 174 for around $900 or so from greggy, so that's at least two in a row. That's still a good jump, but its warranted because it's increasingly being called a "key". In reality it has reprinted stories and no Cain-just a cool cover and being first in the new mystery format.

Anybody get the Phantom Stranger 10 CGC 9.6 on the link ? Cant imagine that book lasted very long before a buy order was placed at the asking price of $450.

Wow. Ton of nice stuff...totally missed that. 893censored-thumb.gif I knew it wouldn't be long after the nice price of the last #10 before another one came up.
