Thanks! It’s much nicer than I expected. Probably 6.5 - 7.0 with a press. A CGC graded copy sold on the boards early last year for $1500. I can’t remember if it was 7.5 or 8.0.

Ditto. Already have a decent Battle Report....but that copy is a bit nicer.

Persistence and patience. One I have, the other I am still trying to learn.

Looking back at this run of books, it reminds me that it is so much more than the book itself. The memories of who, what and when are all just as amazing as many of the stories contained within.

G-I in Battle (1st series, #1 - 9). Now I just need that damn annual

Great run congrats! I’ve been pecking away at it for some time and have a little over half including that “damn annual” 

My favorite is I think it’s #5 with the GI holding the nurse. So sad and represents the futility of war so well.

I picked up this War Stories #5 (actually #1) at Terry’s show on Sunday. Lower grade but hard to believe a cool 1942 war cover like this would go so cheap.
