I can see any new characters possibly having and retaining some value depending on how they are received.
 

I don’t understand why there’s any interest in current issues as it’s not the first time the franchisees have crossed over. Just people drinking the marketing kool-aid and FOMO I guess.

Another show in the books this weekend. We broke the myth about Summers shows not doing well
as well I think. I saw a 15% higher sales in the March show.  Saw some very nice silver change
hands as well. Sales were all over the place. I sold prints, sets sold which shocked me including
2 sets of X-men Pizza Hut, Superman Archives, & Great Darkness Saga. 

Sold Boxes of $1 books more than I expected, but I did discount for large scale buyers. 

Moved alot of $5 books as well in boxes. Kraven's Saga was very popular with sales from PP
and Amazing. McFarlane Spider-man the series continues to sell well in high grade. I thought for
sure my Spectre 54 would sell, but only one person looked at it. Sold a ton of Simpson comics
as well. 

Guy walked up to my booth with an entire trading card series of Donruss from Marvel in 1966.
He was the original owner how cool is that.

Had people as far as Memphis, TN show up this time so word is out. If not for Charlotte we
probably would have done better as at least a dozen regulars went to that show which I 
completely understand. 

The market is still doing well just not slabs unless they are key Silver.

It was…not good, honestly.  Came from Khazakstan at the time of a big earthquake, wrapped in essentially a folder in cardboard and a black plastic trash bag.  Still a cool piece, and glad to have it, but yeah - got beat up a bit.

He basically escaped Russia back in October, and I have no idea what his living situation is.  He was also pretty cool to talk to, so I can cut an artist some slack.  He was also selling it by himself rather than how he normally does it though Inkyknuckles.  I’ve bought a couple of his works from them and they were in great condition.

Well clearly you did great because that is just awesome. Nice to have a unique story as to where it came from as well. I enjoy Bratukhin's work.

Wow, crazy story. I heard a few years ago a lot of his OA was very difficult to get when he was living in Russia and everything shut down.
