Blackacre has a print run of 9804...though i know there's a ton of Blackacre hate going on.

 

Why the hate?

 

cause people holding tons are boosting it, and others are talking it down

 

The people talking it down, have they actually read it?

 

The first issue was good enough that I want to read the next few.

 

Although if people are buying them for the sake of flipping, I hope the price stays at cover.

 

Yup good story so far. I've stopped buying them at this point just to make sure the price doesn't get too high for people that want to read it before the TPB comes out. Although the first prints seem to be hitting $8-$9 shipped on eBay now. A week ago it was closer to $6 shipped.

It was sold out at midtown the same week 15.1 became hot. Its the first superior avenging. Nothing really special about it as far as I know, other than people bought all the copies up.

R.I.P.D. is pretty solid too. One sale at $100 and one at $70 for 1-4. The $100 was VF/NM too. Very few available online. Finding high grade RIPD will probably be difficult due to the fact that i'm sure most of them have been in discount boxes for the last 10+ years. Anyone have any idea what the print run on those were? I believe there's a site, but can't remember what it is at the moment....Sixth Gun and RIPD are going to hit ridiculous money with what i'm assuming are tiny print runs.

Two years ago, I bought a NM Walking Dead 19 for 1$. Since I had no idea of the value of the comic and the entire franchise, I sold it on our local ebay forums for 4$. I was happy with the profit. A month later, I randomly decided to check the price on ebay.com.

 

I've been crying ever since.

 

Anyone care to top this tale of woe?
