I didn't spec on this book, sure ill get one for cover, 3.99 aint gonna break my wallet, for reading sakes. Like i said, i care less how this book does, the market has spoken and they are buying, if i had 10 copies I def. would be flipping them. For those that did, congrats, there's a HUGE flood coming next week as online retailers have started to ship out their orders.

 

 

 

Now time to go get me some Fish Tacos, yum!

 

I don't see a HUGE FLOOD of people having preordered TMNT 44

 

and buyers could instantly kill the flipper market by just doing a chargeback on any comic they buy that ends up turning cold within 6 months.

In 12 years on eBay I had half a dozen non-paying bidders and 2 returns. I allowed returns for any reason. I suspect those sellers that "flip as quick as possible" and take advantage of a temporary spike feel more pushback from buyers. They should.

Seems the cover is making the biggest difference currently.

I totally agree with that. Bucky's return had to be done in a flawless way, not many writers could've pulled it off.

When it came to Thanos, Marvel didn't do it for 10 years and let Starlin do it properly.

When Miller ended his initial Daredevil run, he showed that Elektra was brought back by The Hand, I don't think they would have let any other writer touch that and her character went unused for years (and then she had some really really bad books).

Certain writers command / earn the respect and control with the characters. Brubaker is one of them for sure. How Dan Slott got it is beyond me though

Maybe, but Brubaker is a special kind of talent that can put out quality work even if he has editors hovering over.
