What do you think of the Four Horsemen's of Apocalypse for the next X-men movie?

Sure, but that's really a Copper discussion.

Isn't Modern comics from mid 80's? ???

I went to a used book store three weeks ago and they had a X-Factor #15 on the wall for $15.

He was pricing books and stumbled on a Incredible Hulk Annual #5 - I said "how much is that, I'll buy that" - he opened up his overstreet and priced it at $7 so I asked, how do you price your books?

"overstreet"

"why is that book $15?"

"the new marvel avenger Movies"

"oh". Than I bought the first Groot for $7 :cloud9:

Some people have it as mid 80's, if you check the CGC glossary you will see CGC define it is 1990 onwards http://www.cgccomics.com/resources/glossary.asp

I guess it's easier to just follow CGC.

No. That place sucks. Toronto is not the place to buy back issues.

No one go to BMV.

hm

I've been buying them too. It appears that Bullock will be a major player but Montoya is way down in the credits so I'm kind of doubting it too. I don't think they need Batman to tell the same stories but they do need his crazies. I agree with you. I was sincerely hoping for Gotham Central stories. :wishluck:

I can understand a retailer having this policy as they have to do whatever they deem best for thier business but I have also seen the unintended consequences of a policy like this in another business.

My wife used to take my girls to Hallmark to buy plush toys called Webkinz. They were buying 2 each and selling one on ebay to help pay for the ones they kept for their own. These were quite popular and not a cheap buy at that time. One day, my wife goes into the Hallmark and the owner of the store put a 1 per customer limit on them. It was the last time my wife or kids bought them or went to that Hallmark. I personally think it was a bad policy and a worse decision for the retailer as my wife used to spend a lot of money on other stuff at her shop.

Midtown has a tendency of doing this & I think its stupid. As long as you get money for a book you were planning to sell, what difference does it make if I buy 4 copies now or throughout the day? "Give people a chance to get one." Um, no. If they wanted it that badly, they would've gotten it as soon as the store opened up. You snooze, you lose.

I've been loading up on Gotham Central #1s, but honestly, I can't think of a plausible connection between the series and the TV-show now that I've seen the cast.

who needs a plausible connection? you just need to be able to convince the ebay crowd.

Speaking of Gotham Central, is anybody expecting Gotham the TV show to be loosely based on this series ? How about G.C.P.D. ?

I've been picking up Gotham Central #1s. I think the show could borrow heavily from that series. They likely won't be using Freeze anytime soon, but the Joker sniper story arc could be used as source material.
