That same run of Batman sold 3 times over the past month or so:

They appear to constantly get inventory so multiple lots of this same blah run of Batman isn't out of the question.
However, they are using the same pictures in each listing, even with the average grade changing slightly (so their nonsense about using the pictures to bid accordingly is bunk).

And don't forget, they block for "bad vibes":

image.png.5de211661d6897fab1d0f50ac9f51137.png

Considering all of the above, I wouldn't go near them.

If anything we are selling was relisted it would be due to non payment. Look at these, you can see that these 3 are the same run, but not the same books. If you look at the pics or the custom sku#, you will see the books are different as is the sku.  We have a warehouse and a huge volume of batman comics... We have 8 more of these runs right now for anyone interested who wants to help spare us the suspicion of selling an item or run identical to something we have sold in the past...

As I stated, these comics are common so I don't believe things are being re-sold incorrectly or suspiciously.

What I am saying is for a seller to state "look at the pictures" to determine a grade and then re-use the same pictures over and over is...interesting. Especially if the average grade of lot of comics changes.

To me, all three of these look the same, considering the spacing and overlap of comics; very difficult to get it this close 3 times in a row.

Sorry but it's actually pretty easy to set up the same shot when you use a fixed photography display such as we do.

We also do not simply say "look at the pictures".. We assign an average grade for every run we sell and photograph every book. The Average grade is stated in the title and description...

Since it seems we still cannot get the benefit of the doubt despite our track record, feedback and assurances, I hope this helps put this claim to bed..

Here's my last try: I believe NeatStuff sold these lots and to different buyers and they are completely separate lots.

I understand you have a fixed display but do you also lay the comics over each the *exact same way* every single time?

Look at the same peekaboo vertical line of "DIRECT SALES" on this comic in *every* auction; or how the bar code on the left exactly shows only the last two digits the same way:

image.png.7eefc29f5fa614835e78ef95aeaebb2b.pngimage.png.58c1e968fff7622ac119d8031b761d29.pngimage.png.a7b434c514300be45f48c7979920ddab.png

Correct; you don't *just* say "look at the pictures"; you say to base bids on the pictures provided but you don't actually provide pictures of these Batman lots you are selling.

You're telling me all three lots had the exact same comics in Newsstand in the middle of a run?

Crazy to not wanting to recognize some obvious details like this... :boo:

Not really, especially considering I posted proof of the 3 unique sales... When you are using a fixed photography display and the items are visually identical (on quick glance through a monitor) it's not hard at all to produce seemingly duplicate staged shots.. We set up runs the same way, on the same display.

Odd that you're not wanting to recognize this, but apparently you've got your reasons...

Close to impossible to repeat the same alignment exactly, twice, never mind multiple times.  It's the same photos.

And that's ok, if you say the photos are just to identify the comics for sale, not the exact copies you will be getting.

They just keep reposting until it hits their internal reserve. Second account bids it up to X value. If it doesn't reach it at the end, they cancel the bid on accouht 2 and relist it. Tons and tons of sellers do this.

You're not following. That's not what's happening here. They can show that multiple identical lots shipped, so you have a faulty premise and an unjust accusation.

The issue is only the identical photos representing lots that can't possibly be 100% identical.

Lot to do about basically nothing especially since the group photos are way too far away to determine grades or how books present.  All the sets are billed as high grade so I can see why they would take one set of pictures and use them for a few different sets if they are basically the same.

I agree; if the seller had come here and said, "yeah, same pics, common comics" end of story. But his outright refusal to admit that, or understand that, is baffling.

Now, selling over 100 individual comics and the AVERAGE grade is 9.8, time for that 9.9 pre-screen. Leaving money on the table.

Right. They may very well have 10 sets of these books, I'd believe it, I have close to three sets of them. I'd use the same picture again and again, but say it, the grades on all the books are basically the same, etc. Although the 5 or so more "expensive" books in the group may warrant a new picture.

And, yes, @greggy left the Calgary Expo with all sorts of great copper and modern books again. I will be watching his posts in the what's new in your collection thread in a couple of months to see all of the 9.8s and 9.9s he pulled.

He is correct.  The couple other sets were cut off and shown next.  I'm envious they get so many people paying hundreds of dollars for sets.

You don't think if you put that up for $400-50 with a best offer that you wouldn't eventually get a decent price?

It would take awhile to get over $300 considering all the not even close to key books in the set but I guess $3 a book is possible.  I don’t get even close to the eyeballs he gets so the set could sit for years at that price.

Just seems like before someone bids on something like that why wouldn't they see what fixed price listings there are? Someone probably isn't buying that set to break it up and flip, unlike many big lots on ebay.
