Another way to change the list would be to list top 5 grails under $500 in guide...etc.

In Fact....I'm going to post it up and see what happens.

 

Go for it, good idea. All the books I posted are over $500 I just have been spedning too much money lately. tonofbricks.gif What grade is your AF#15?

I recently purchased a few of my grails including:

 

Incredible Hulk #181 (not the best copy, but until I get the cash to buy a 9.8 copy, this one will do! thumbsup2.gif)

X-Men #8 (and Im talking about the one drawn by Kirby!)

Iron Man #3 (trying to buy "single digit" books of all my favorite titles)

FF #48 (which again is not the best copy...but I will upgrade when I hit the lottery! yay.gif )

OK, here is my updated list of grails I own:

Amazing Adventures 11 CGC 9.8 Thank you Bruce!

X-Men 94 CGC 9.6 Thank you Mr. HighGrade!

Amazing Adventures 14 9.8 Thank you GhostTown!

Amazing Aventures 15 9.8 Thank you Steve!

Amazing Adventures 17 9.8 Thank you Don Rosa!

As you can tell, I love those Amazing Adventures Beast books. The four 9.8s that I have are each one and only top census books. Please let me know if you have 9.6 or better raw copies of AA 12, 13 or 16 or a 9.6 graded copy of AA 13. The X-Men 94 has the best QP I have ever seen for this book - even better than the one 9.8.

 

The top 5 grails that I am still chasing are:

Spider-Man 121 9.6 or better.

Spider-Man 122 9.6 or better.

There was a 121 & 122 pair in 9.8 (white) that sold on Heritage several years ago that I would love to own. Please pm me if you have them or know who does.

Spider-Man 129 9.6 or better.

Defenders 10 9.8.

Giant-Size X-Men 1 9.6 or better.

 

The top grails that I own under $500 are:

Spider-Man 119 & 120 9.6 Spidey vs. Hulk!

Avengers 115-118, Defenders 8-11 all 9.6 Avengers/Defenders war in 1971!

I remember reading all of these as a kid and loving them.

Hey, I'll play along...here are the top 5 grails I own...

 

Detective #39 2.0

Superman #4 1.0 (CFO)

Action #19 1.0 (looks high grade, but no back cover)

Batman #17 4.0 (slight r)

Amazing Spiderman #3 4.5

 

It's a motley crew compared to most of the mind-boggling collections around here...but I love 'em! yay.gif

Marvel Feature 1 (fine condition)

Defenders 1 (fine)

Flash Comics 33 (arriving soon; very beat up but still looks nice)

Hawkman 1, first series (fair to good; need to buy a better copy sometime)

Fantastic Four 33 (very good)
