The TC is there because it took a long time to acquire a high grade copy. I have never ran across another black cover that was so unblemished. TCs are so abundent but they do not show up in high grade all that often. It has great artwork as part of the "Godless Communism" series.

I always wondered why they always called this heavy kid in middle school Baby Huey. Its sad but funny.

In the early 80s I was trying to get all the no.1 issues from Harvey Comics. Aesthetics

is very important to me but old Harvey comics were notoriously difficult to find in unread

condition. After an unproductive search for nice examples, I was made aware of

the warehouse copies. I believe this book was the first book I acquired from the warehouse find.

 

As a sidenote, the WDC&S qualifies as one of my grails as I searched high and low

for a nice Seven Dwarfs cover for my daughter. I picked this book up within the last year.
