I'm doing preliminary research for my brother who wants me to start selling some of his books.

 

I collect modern, so, the older stuff, I need to get more accustomed to.

7.5 buy your brothers comics easy peasy - don't think as collecting but investing sell in 5 years. Your inexperience coupled with todays head and shoulders market will kill your sales.

It's a beauty of a book, but I don't think 7.0 is out of the question at all. Chip to LRC, assorted spine wear (can only see color breaks in the black areas, but it's a reasonable assumption that there are more spine cracks), rumpling in LLC. CGC might say 7.5, but higher than that is pushing it, IMO.

For some reason, I have a hard time with scans of mostly white cover books.

 

top says higher grade, bottom says midgrade.
