I have 19 month old daughter and I think this is part of the reason why this book resonates with me so much. =) I've raised four 19 month olds,. I now refer to them as the Four Horsemen which is why I like East of West so much. Hahahaha Maybe he got facial surgery to help "blend in". Hence the bandages.
