When you grade books, what defects bring a 9.8 down to a 9.6?

If we are being serious here, it could be just one extra spine stress, very tiny corner crease, light wave to the book, light dust/sun shadow, small impact on cover and a few other things.

 

If we are not being serious............it's just a toss of the 25 sided dice I and CGC use when grading........1st roll............9.8.......you win! :grin:

First, Santa: Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He never visits you because you are one of the top people on his "Who's been naughty" List.
