Steve B's answers to "tough questions"

256 posts in this topic

Steve:

Is the wine glass half full or half empty?

Porterhouse or Flatiron?

Bronx or Brooklyn?

Always half full.

Porterhouse (At Lugers!)

Bronx, Arthur Ave best italian food I have ever had.

Comics = I know little (what am I doing on this board?)

Lugers = Still no 1 but the spinoffs (Ben and Jacks, Wolfgangs) are 95% of the taste without the trip and reservation problem. However, the atmosphere of the original cannot be replaced.

Arthur Ave ? (thumbs u

Best? = A little trip to Ozone park = Don Pepe. You will need to bring the family though.

Big Lebowski or Boondock Saints?

Waits or Zevon-von?

:pullhair:

Litch! Always with the really hard ones! :frustrated:

I'm gonna take the easy wasy out

Leboski, better written, one of Bridge's best roles ever and Goodman's best role ever.

Boondock, fun as hell, and Defoe's best role ever!

Both are in my top 20 modern movies list.

Waits and Zevon. Both amazing song writers and preformers, but each completey different.

Once again, both in my top 20 modern musican list.

I guess, the answer depends on my mood at that exact moment.

That said. gonna throw on "Get behind the mule" by Waits as I am working and you just reminded me of how many mornings we spent begining the grading day with that song! (thumbs u

Gotta get behind the mule

In the morning and plow..........

Q: Was the trimmed Bats 11 from Danny Dupcak?

Can anyone provide the original thread discussing the Batman 11?

It's a very difficult thread to find using the search function. I don't know if I've ever actually found the original thread despite several attempts to find it.

The answer to whether DD did that is no.

Who DID do it would be a good question for Steve in this thread! lol

I'm not sure if that's the one.

I just recall hearing the Bats had a totally new level of restoration performed on it - I think it was trimming, and then the edges were treated to appear as though they weren't trimmed. And it got through in a blue label?

I'm not interested in knowing the specifics as to how it was done. I just want to read the thread that discussed it - that's all.

I like reading the threads on here that discuss findings/discoveries/shocks/surprises.

Got ya! (thumbs u

Not sure where the thread is and I am too lazy to spend the time to look it up. :sorry:
