There's a thread on these Boards where you can share images of the book (https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/) and others can give you a grade estimate. I would begin there and see what kind of grade you might expect from CGC. If it's high grade, it may be worth the cost. This thread is more about the actual production of the books rather than distribution (I think...). Overspray on books was a distribution method for quickly identifying shelf books that needed to be returned, or how long they'd been on the shelf. There's a whole section of the Board that offers grading estimates: https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/ ...and you'd be able to share some photos of your book and VERY good graders will give you their opinions.
