As a magazine, Wizard no longer exists.

 

I would also be very curious to see the original art "price guide" from issue 108. Were they just pulling numbers out of thin air...?

 

 

As opposed to the intensely scientific means they employed to value comics? lol

 

I am guessing the dart board had 2 sides...one for comics and one for art.

To me that's the one where you might be able to orchestrate a seven figure sale. Maybe #8 too. Not as big on 28 and 30

that cover is by erik larsen. why would that one bring seven figure sales?

i love it, and i also love larsens work...just cant see it more valued than mc spidey...:-)

No, Ditko's ASM #15 - there was a pretty substantial rumor that it surfaced a few years ago and another substantial rumor as to who acquired it. The rumored buyer would not confirm that they bought it, so its all unverified. If I recall correctly, there was no scan made but there was a photograph (which I unfortunately did not see).

Agree.

 

I was asking about the McFarlane run in particular but yeah I'd trade the whole McFarlane run for the one Amazing 15 cover.
