If you look closely inside the restaurant door you will see the same chairs

used in the scene.

I'm sure the place is now a rocking tourist attraction. :headbang:

Gyros are everywhere in Florida. Especially Tampa where we're so close to the Tarpon Springs Greek sponge diving community.

I didn't have my first kebab until visiting Vienna 10 years ago.

Roy can comment on my shawarma experience. He knows its entirety.

Just in case people go and see it again, here's the Shawarma place Iron Man lands next to after going inside (and through) the big Chitauri worm thing.

does everyone already know about Shawarma and I have just been out of the loop.

There are dozens, if not hundreds, of places you can get shawarma in NYC. As Chromium said, it's also very popular in Europe - I've had many a late-night shoarma there, especially in France, where it serves the same purpose as a 3am pizza slice at Ben's Pizza in NYC. (thumbs u

I think this thread has just inspired me to get a shawarma for lunch. :cloud9:

Falafel rules. Never tried shwarma while I lived in NYC. It's probably equally as awesome.

Tahini sauce :cloud9:

You are not kidding about Falafel. There are a couple of excellent Falafel places here.

You know... Someone could go in and offer to buy the chairs used in the filming of the Avengers movie. hm

This chair was sat on by the Black Widow!

Captain America ate shawarma in this chair!

This chair barely held Dr Bruce Banner also known as the Hulk!

I have chicken shawarma at least 3-4 times a week. Lou and I will go sometimes 2 times a day.

Tupenny's shawarma experience was overwhelmingly positive. Rumour has it that it was that experience that led to RBJ mentioning it in the movie.

I just wish that the wicked movie producers had gotten their shawarma portrayal a little closer to my personal preferences.

Shawarma means something to me. I'm a sincere fan. I'm emotionally invested.

The studio could have done better but chose not to consult with me.

I'm now in pain & nothing anyone does or says can make it right at this point.

Disney will never serve as shawarma chef for my 3 am drunks if I have anything to say about it from here forward.
