I've heard the stories of people finding boxes of old comics in the attic...

well my son and daughter in-law found an old box of my comics while

cleaning out their basement. I had forgotten about them even existing...

they must have been moved along with my sons books when they bought

their house.

The box contains around 100 books...half from my Golden Age collection and the

rest Silver and Bronze Age books picked up at auctions.

As I start to go through them I see a ROCKET KELLY #1...TREASURE COMICS

#3 and #4...MARMADUKE MOUSE #1...PUPPETOONS #3...

I'll scan them as I go through them.

Here's another one, from the new box, that you don't see to often.

Congratulations on having found another box of your comics. I'm sure it must mean a lot to you.

Any books in there that will displace either of your previous top two?

No, not in this box...my "Top Two" will remain SUPERBOY #1 and FLASH #104...but

there are some interesting books in this group that I will scan and share.

Wow, just think, a forgotten box of 100 GABooks just sitting in an attic. The things dreams are made of. Must have made your day Marty!

It truly made my day! Only half of them are Golden Age but what's there is a lot of fun

to go through...like this forgotten one.

Here's another one that I remember having but could never locate until now.

It's the only TRUE COMICS I ever bought...but read a few in the Barber Shop.

While going through the GA books in the newly found box of comics, I realized

that all of them were in plastic storage bags, put there before I found out that

there were bags especially made for comics. Needless to say, I have placed

an order for bags and backings.

Apparently they survived the yellowed plastic bags fairly well...just needed a little air.
