Thanks for your interest...collected from 1942 until 1954...I lived in NEWARK, NJ

Bath, SC and Scranton, PA during those years.

Neither have I. I don't recall even having heard of it. DTA brought a collection to market a couple of years ago that consisted solely of number 1 issues. I don't remember seeing this one in that collection.

I believe this is the only graded copy of ZOO FUNNIES #101 (1).

Overstreet had it listed as the 1st Charlton Comic Book...but CGC

was unable to acknowledge that on the label because the comic

lists Children's Comics Publications not Charlton as publisher.
