Marvel Mystery # 51 (CGC 8.0 White) $2,500 Classic Schomburg torture hooded Nazi cover. A 6.5 just sold for $938 on ebay last week. My price might be crazy, but so is anyone who thinks they can get a comparable copy for cheap.

Okay, so I'm going to do something a little different for Sunday. Since I'm leaving midway through the day for a baseball game/concert/dinner, with little idea of when I'm getting back, I figured I'd get today's listings out of the way early. What follows is a list of recent submissions that I'll be picking up from CGC on Tuesday, so I don't have any scans handy to begin with.

 

Prices are listed. All were Pressed by the Maestro Ludwig Von Grisolia. Anyone who wants to put up a conditional " :takeit: pending scan approval" may do so, though in many cases you may have multiple copies to choose from. In case someone else puts up a conditional "I'll take it" pending scan approval, and you really want the book, please feel free to put yourself in as the back-up buyer by posting one of your own.

 

I'm hoping to have them back in time on Tuesday to post scans and send out any invoices, as I'm leaving for Heroes early on Wednesday. Worse case scenario is that I may not be able to ship these out before next week.

:hi: I enjoyed the 1st few books of the show but the late uk hour and my situation meant I fell asleep iPad in hand. Looking forward to seeing some more books though. Is there a showing tonight? I don't have any gold age books in my collection so I'm after an affordable GA title to start me off. Not sure what you have but I'm on a budget which I know doesn't hold out much hope for me but I'll be watching (thumbs u :popcorn:

Since we started the night with a rare Fight Comics...let's end it with one as well.

 

Fight Comics # 35 (CGC 9.4 OW) $6,000. Second only to # 31 in scarcity and collector demand, this book has been shattering Guide multiples for years. The GGA cover with the bare breasted native girl is a classic in every way. This is the sole highest graded copy. There are no 9.2s. This is it, and very likely may be the only true Near Mint copy of this book that is ever certified. Price is both nutty and firm. :P
