It actually sold for $911 which is insane, considering you can buy a CGC 9.4 at the moment from an online dealer for $175

Sparklecity is now carrying books by reputation... check out X-Men 142 in a 9.8. Sparklecity's copy is currently at just above $200.

 

Another seller has a BIN at around $175 that also includes free shipping that is just sitting there.

Brian does tend to earn strong prices, reputation is (and should be) important in the biz. And true auctions are always appreciated (very rarely do you see a reserved book, although I know there are a couple this time).

 

I may throw my hand in the frey on a couple books........The cap does look nice, but It's already pretty close to the max I would pay on it.

On the buying end no luck so far.

 

On the sales end I can't complain. The MM 38 was my biggest performer so far. I thought for sure it would be the AS 2.
