I've found a few more to share with you guys. This first one is from Airboy Comics #110 (V.10 #3). The splash panel from The Heap story.

I was reading my copy of Boy Commandos # 5 last night and just had to share a couple of the splash panels. Great example of classic GA kirby and simon.

 

 

I really like the mood in this one. And notice the time on the clock. Maybe a reference to the doomsday clock? (Was that around during WWII?)

The doomsday clock was initiated in 1947, right after WWII, due to the threat of nuclear war.

Favorite panel from Captain Marvel #130. These two panels are from a story where Captain Marvel battles King Kull and Sivana, aka the "two worst villains in history".
