So maybe not worth the trouble to send pics to CGC if it is indeed the inside cover... would be nice if grader notes had specified because like I mentioned, I don't see tanning on the four front covers.

Your technical folks pointed out that they were able to log in as me and show the status of my submissions ... and then they questioned whether I was running an out-of-date browser.  I'm running the latest version of Chrome, so that theory is easy to rule out.  Recalling that I was able to see my submissions in "incognito mode," my next thought was that either some browser plugin (e.g. an ad blocker) was getting in the way, or maybe I just needed to clear my cache.

So I decided to simply bring up the screen again (which showed basically what I posted above) and then hit Ctrl+F5 to clear my cache and refresh the page. Thankfully, that worked!

So I think this issue is resolved for me, and I hope you can pass on my solution to your team so they know what to advise anyone else who sees this problem.

Sometimes the ads that now run at the bottom of that page have been a bit off-topic for comic collecting. Wouldn’t be surprised if they could trigger an ad block.

My February 2023 Economy FT submission is now back in hand.  Here are the vital stats:

  • 2023-02-04: Accepted by USPS
  • 2023-02-06: Delivered to CGC
  • 2023-02-08: Delivery Confirmed by CGC
  • 2023-02-09: Status Marked "Received"
  • 2023-02-09: Status Marked "Scheduled for Grading"
  • 2023-02-15: Status Marked "Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging"
  • 2023-02-17: Status Marked "Grading/Quality Control"
  • 2023-02-17: Status Marked "Shipped"
  • 2023-02-22: Delivered to Me (via FedEx Ground, which is what I selected on the submission form)

That's only 18 calendar days from raw-in-hand to encapsulated-in-hand for anyone who's counting (or 9 business days under the sole control/custody of CGC).  :whatthe:  :whatthe:  (worship)  As a reminder, CGC's estimated TAT on the day I entered into this contract with them was 20 business days.

A visual inspection of the encapsulated books and a review of the associated Grader Notes reveal that the books are in exactly the same condition today as they were on February 4, 2023.  In other words, the books were handled with appropriate and sufficient care.  Furthermore, the labels are 100% correct and each book looks fantastic in its holder.  (thumbsu  (thumbsu

Unless it’s for your PC and you don’t mind waiting over a year, I wouldn’t recommend it. I recently did a 21 book order and had them back with Fast Track in under two weeks door to door vs more than a year using standard. Well worth the $315 extra for the entire order.
