current turn around rates at CGC
80 80

I have a Value submission (not fast tracked) that is at 60 business days and is not even scheduled for grading yet. With scheduled for grading, then graded, and then quality control still to go, I'm thinking it may hit 80 or 90 business days for a turnaround.

Now at day 71. Books have been "Graded" for 8 business days, but still haven't moved to "Quality Control."

CGC updated their turnaround times.

Modern got better, but Modern fast track took a hit.

All other FT tiers seems to be on time now.

Never showed in "Quality Control." Went straight to "Shipped" today.

Total of 72 business days for a Value submission.

Standard Magazines on business day 14 (of 15 day stated turnaround) still sitting at Verified.

Modern Fast Track on business day 12 (of 18 day stated turnaround) sitting at Graded.

How does modern get better and fast track loses ?

Based on the last few pages of this thread it seems clear that moderns, FT or not, have sped up significantly relative to other tiers. People posting, me included, are saying that Economy FT hasn't been getting out on time according to their stated TATs, while moderns seem to be frequently getting done ahead of stated TATs.

At the 10:50 I mark I wanted to blow my brains out.

The guy loves sending in .50 cent books to be graded.

(Yes I am calling him a loser and I feel good about judging people) :baiting: I am kidding :jokealert:

Wow. Watching that video is brutal. It's like watching a train wreck about to happen. Why is this guy spending hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars to grade garbage??? He's losing money on most. This is a business model???

I have no issues whatsoever with people who slab books that have low monetary value but high sentimental value. However, this guy just seems to pre-screen any and all comics for high grades and send those in, assuming that in some post-apocalyptic future he will have MONIES. !mpact Comics Annuals=fat profits!

Also, did anyone else notice that all the certificates of authenticity on his GLOD books were identical? I'm assuming he made those himself, which is basically just him certifying that the signature is real because he says it's real.

How does this differ from other certificates of authenticity?
