And dammit, got a 9.2 on what I thought was for sure a 9.8...if only grader notes were free...argh...was 6 for 7 on the others I thought were 9.8s, but Preacher #1 got a 9.6....

IMHO, the CGC has tightened up on their grading, possibly a little too much.

Will be curious to crack mine out and see, but I've seen that mentioned around the boards.

 

Had to be internal defects. I'll admit that if the book looks new and unread, I don't review checking the interior because I fear I'll fingerprint or worse, make a crease or small tear by looking at them.

 

I guess I'm taking a $30 gamble per book in that case, that's life...

They have everything wrong on the Order status page. I have sent an e-mail to try and straighten it out and received a reply this morning claiming it was corrected. It was not. Sent another e-mail, hopefully they will get it right.

 

Looks like the got the order straightened out, except they verified the books out of order compared to the invoice.

Wow, MST is all over the place. I've got a sub from 1/12/15 that's still chilling at graded in Florida.

 

not sure if it makes a difference, but I had it pressed by CCS first, and that took 2.5 months. Maybe they felt bad for me and put me on a 'faster (but still quite slow)' track.

 

Nope. I'm in the same boat, and still waiting for grades on mine.

It's a little bit more of a gamble from here in Australia; fortunately of the 14 modern books submitted via MFT, 13 were 9.8s with only one solitary 9.6 (which was a copy of X-Men 135). Additionally the TAT was exactly 15 business days.

It is now 8 business days. Not a happy camper. I paid too much money for not quick enough. They told me it will be few more business days. It's almost Standard Tier price!

 

I will try to convince them to bump the price from Express to Standard.
