**Emerald City Comic Con --March 1-3**

I get home from London Monday night and leave for Seattle Thursday morning. Not the worst trip I have ever been on, but not going to be fun.

I one flew home from Frankfurt and had my trip changed to fly all the way to Pearl City to work with the eye specialists at Tripler. That one was bad.

Yep. One of the worst days in my life. I had not slept in almost a whole day and then flew West forever. Firtunately I had an upgrade, and 3 small bottles of canadian club was all it took to knock me out from Dallas to Hawaii.

Frankfurt to Atlanta...small layover. Atlanta to Dallas. Dallas to Hawaii. Then up at 5 AM the day I arrived for surgery. I used to make the big bucks then.

Does anyone know if Robert Kirkman plans on attending? He attended last year. With adlard, Moore, ottley, and Cory walker attending I was planning getting some TWD and invincibles signed.

Unless something drastically changes Kirkman will NOT be there. I was hoping for the same thing. Would have been a perfect storm to crack out some of the 9.8 WD #100 Comixologys that I have to get Kirkman/Adlard/Ottley all to sign them at the same time.

Why is that?

I'm thinking of trying to attend this year for the first time. I just picked up a customer in the area and so if I can work a visit around ECCC, I'll be there.

What are best hotels for the post-con bar scene? Where do people tend to congregate?

I won't be there Friday but will be arriving around 6PM on Saturday, then staying all of Sunday. Are we thinking boardie dinner? If so, my vote is Saturday night at closing time around 8 :wishluck:

I started another thread for the dinner but for Friday (sorry). But then again, no one has signed up so Saturday may be better. It seems like a toss-up between Friday and Saturday every year. Anyways, I hope to meet a few more fellow boardies this year.

I am heading there with a couple of buds from ND. Chicago comic-con last year was our first trip and we are really looking forward to this one. Just wish I had gotten around to having my G.I. Joe #21 in 9.2 pressed before I take it to have Larry Hama sign. Don't think there will be time now.
