I should have bought a copy a few months ago; I'm just glad I'm going to be getting one before it gets impossible.

I would love to sell them and pick up some of the Frazetta Famous Funnies I need. Or some other Golden Age Frazetta.

Excellent choice. Getting that full set has always been fairly tough, but once assembled, gives one tremendous powers. I’ve never had a set. I do have a nice Personal Love 32, which I highly recommend, along with Russ Cochran’s oversize reprint of the masterpiece, and three others from the series. As I’m sure most of this crowd know, it’s the reverse of the Famous Funnies, a cover you don’t care about, with an interior that amazes.

This copy has qualities you want at the grade, congratulations on the purchase. You also get the amusing note inside, which makes it fun. Everyone should get a Vampirella 1 for their birthday.

I'm working on putting together the work Frazetta did for DC; another case of dull covers but amazing interiors.  Two left to go... All-Star Comics 50 and Adventure Comics 150.

From the GCD for the story “Here Today…”:

Pencils: Sid Check

Inks: Sid Check ?; Frank Frazetta (inking assist, six panels)

Check and Frazetta have worked together other times (Beware 10) so it’s believable.
