Neal Adams Batman and Tec continues to sell well and for higher prices on a lot of them. I want them to drop finally as I am considering rebuilding 9.4+ WP runs again.

Potentially a sweet spot. Thinking of lowering my 9.6 goals :frown:

At this point, I'm struggling to think of anything Bronze Age that's "heating up". I'm trying to take advantage of the cooling down because I have so many holes in my collection.

Could be hard… the day after you posted this, I sold a big lot of Warlock books on eBay at full asking price.

I forgot one category that is absolutely on fire...almost any Bronze Age issue from a popular title in CGC 9.8. Whenever I do some quick math, I come back to the conclusion that I could buy an entire run of Bronze books, or at least a big chunk, within a title I collect in 9.4 or 9.6 for the price of just one 9.8 book. I know some collectors are battling it out for top CGC Registry sets or just like to have top population books, but wow the final prices are unreal.

^ if that is the type of book  sellers are now pinning their hopes on for market revitalizationthen all is already lost.

Now that so few rubes remain, stuff like that has the hot (actually warm) lifespan of a gnat.

2nd gen slab, really?

Yep, really! At least for sub-set of collectors

1) No Newton Rings
2) No Inner Well warping
3) No Inner Well notches to crush books
4) Near zero risk of Shaken comic syndrome.

Highly recommend you read through - then check all books you may have that were slabbed so far in 2024. Check for bending due to inner wells,  as well as back of book denting/crushing due to the absurd too short  top and bottom bars that in effect create 4 deadly notches.
