Too many characters means not much character development and a dull story-have to be careful about stuff like that.

Screenplay book I read said 7 is about the max and still have sufficient characterization to make them real enough to care about

Jesus Christ, it's not Schindler's List. It's a comic book movie.

:roflmao:

Seriously!!!! the main character is a Raccoon with a giant gun. Just go in and sit, relax, and have fun. Its not that serious

Main character is the raccoon or Starlord? I want to like this movie but the Chris Pratt humor I saw in the trailers makes me think I won't be laughing much...

People take some movies way too serious. This seems like its meant to be a fun movie, nothing deep. If there was an internet back in the 70's I can only imagine what killjoys would be saying about Star Wars etc. All the crazy characters, a walking dog, Kermit the frog is a Jedi. Even the worst comic book movies I enjoyed. Green lantern, Daredevil Electra etc. They were not meant to be gone with the wind. Just 2 hours of escapism. Nothing more. Was The Avengers Citizen Kane , was Iron Man Casablanca etc no . It was just fun.

On the Nova thing, I get the feeling that the price of Nova #1 which is already rising for a while will be multiple of what it goes for now. Will make me wish I had my 30+ NM copies that I once had., Those kids that I gave those books to over the years , I hope they kept them,. And as a huge Nova fan I am glad he is getting his due. even if the rumors we discussed a few times are not true.

It's not that a movie has to be serious-just that rules of screenplay writing are critical.

You can have a goofy movie that is still successful. 40 year old virgin was great and

it was hardly Schindler's List.

Cliched characters and situations are unforgivable, no matter what.

You know you are just not happy that they didnt have WoodGod in this movie. Dont worry , he will be in the after credits of Avengers 2.

I see alot of people buying Avengers 257. I would be picking up 255 instead. thats just me.

What does this mean?

I'm excited by this now. Without checking I think we are taking Nebula and the female Captain Marvel storyline but I might be wrong.
