Jayman
A couple in today. Couldn't be more pleased with the contents of these two books! Every story is a winner in this one, From "Horror-Go-Round" and especially "Death's Beggar"! The Saunders cover is just the icing... The WOM 13 I picked up because I liked the surrealistic devil cover but again, every story was terrific! Cannibalistic werewolves, vultures picking bones clean while victims still living to mummified heads coming to life!
mrmyst
Sweet. Yep, the inside of that SSFAW 2 is plain awesome.

Cannibalistic werewolves, vultures picking bones clean while victims still living to mummified heads coming to life! Nice! I love that short run of Saunders covers. I've got all of those. Great stories and a nice little run of books. Ace is so underrated. I've never seen that Web Of Mystery. Looks like a great cover. Any Lou Cameron in there? Jayman
The story The Beast of Skeleton Island is credited to Cameron.

fifties
Just got this group in from a dealer the other day. I've been after the True Crime -at an affordable price- for ages. Same with the Mister Mystery. LOVE the CDNP cover! [/img] The Chilling Tales was an eBay snag that came in yesterday, when I unfortunately discovered that it was missing two interior wraps. The seller gave me a full refund and let me keep the book. I have another copy, but was hoping to upgrade. I posted a story from this issue, illustrated by Matt Fox (The Hand of Glory) in the Classic PCH stories thread. [/img]
Jayman
Nice group fifties! A couple of Coles mixed in for good measure too. I always liked the cover to that Beyond! Sorry about the Chilling Tales but at least it was free, hard to find that book with a nice cut. Most copies have the last letter G in Chilling cut off. Overall a very nice haul! gojira
What's that book like on the inside? It's not to bad. I purchased this book because of it's mention in SOTI. There's a lot of Evans art inside, but it's not his best work. I put this one into my "might sell before an interesting auction" pile. Here are a few pages:
