fifties
I really didn't think that The Clutching Hand was that great, and apparently neither did anyone else at the time, , or perhaps it just came along too late in 1954, with the publishers feeling the heat of the approaching code, since it never got beyond one issue. I forgot to mention Out Of The Night. Issue 13 is my call for the best ACG book put out during the PCH era, with 4 good stories. Here's one, about the ninth post down; http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8254388&fpart=

Robot Man
OK, I will conceed that AITI #33 and #38 are pretty good. I have both issues. They just aren't "over the top" as much as their contempories. The first dozen or so issues of both this and Forbidden worlds do have outstanding covers. I pick them up on the cheap when I can. One of these days, I get to posting some cool horror stuff. I am a big Horror Fan also. Come on Bob, ACG's are cool. [/img]
Robot Man
I will vote for the Mysterious Advs and the Fantastic. The Fantastic has a look to it kind of like the '40's Fox Fantastic #3 but missing the Lou Fine art... Very nice taste! Love Mysterious Adventures and the Witchcraft especially!
