Mark Waid Daredevil.

Was looking around and noticed no one has been talking about this awesome book. As a longtime daredevil fan I really love this book and I am blown away each issue. What's everyone else's thoughts on this radtastic book

I feel the same as you. I was worried that the book would hurt when the original art team left, but is has been just as good since.

Ya I wasn't happy when I heard Samnee was taking over, but he proved me wrong. He can draw one kickass daredevil & Stiltman

I JUST picked up the first three TPB over the last week on ebay! I got Vol. 1 yesterday. Can't wait to read it from what everyone has been saying!

Well, dumb question I guess? Could I start reading it now or should I really finish the Bendis/Maleev and Brubaker issues first?

You could read it now it somewhat back tracks not much tho. I would start reading it

I agree. While Brubaker's run piggybacks immediately after Bendis, Waid's takes place years later and is a fresh start, to some extent.

Enjoying Waid but I loved the Brubaker run better than his Captain America issues. Real intense stuff.

I've never read a Daredevil storyline I didn't like. I can't say that for any other series I've read (mini-series like Y:Last Man don't count, of course)

I really hated Samnee's work when he first was becoming popular. I still despise most of the Wolverine stuff.

 

But he appears to be improving quickly. His Daredevil stuff is much better.
