Avengers 2: Age of Ultron - Seriously

2,574 posts in this topic

I am psyched about this movie! About the only disappointing thing is Ultron's look, which to me is too flat and uninteresting...I would have loved to see a more classic "evil jack o'lantern" look rather than the face-capture stuff.

Otherwise... :cloud9:

Dan

Yeah, I agree, but you kinda kinda tell he does have those mouth-circles at the end of the trailer. His eyes look too human though. It would be neat if they gave him the evil looking eyes from the comics.

Another problem though - why does ultron have teeth?!?

Can anyone explain the ballet dancers at 1:36?
Ballet originated in the Italian Renaissance courts of the 15th century. Noblemen and women were treated to lavish events, especially wedding celebrations, where dancing and music created an elaborate spectacle. Dancing masters taught the steps to the nobility, and the court participated in the performances. In the 16th century, Catherine de Medici, an Italian noblewoman, wife of King Henry II of France and a great patron of the arts, began to fund ballet in the French court. Her elaborate festivals encouraged the growth of ballet de cour, a program that included dance, decor, costume, song, music and poetry. A century later, King Louis XIV helped to popularize and standardize the art form. A passionate dancer, he danced many roles himself, including that of the Sun King in Ballet de la nuit. His love of ballet fostered its elevation from a pasttime for amateurs to an endeavor requiring professional training.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Thanks for clearing that up.

When Natasha was brain washed as a KGB spy, her fake life was as a prima-ballerina. Recently in the Winter Soldier comics, when she is re-brainwashed, they revert her to that.

I didnt notice ballet dancers, but it could be a flash back of Natasha's past maybe?

Interesting theory out there that Andy Serkis is playing Klaw and supplies Ultron with Vibranium. Cue Black Panther, and Bob's yer uncle. :)

Peace,

Chip

This Klaw ?

That's gotta be it. Serkis as Klaw would be awesome!

I would bank on Serkis as Klaw or at least pre-Klaw in this movie to set up BP into into team. The fact that we also see Cap's broken shield may mean the team heads over to Wakanda to get more Vibranium as well...

I cannot believe that can make a better Avengers than the first but this looks like they probably have!

WOW... just WOW

How are they going to fit in Planet Hulk if they're doing Civil War and then Infinity Gauntlet? Maybe Hulk gets launched into space and he's gone until the end of Infinity Gauntlet when he comes back to start World War Hulk?

Hulk's rampaging will raise the issue of a Superhero Registration Act.

Marvel actually did some recent trademarking on New Warriors…they may actually make a movie of them before Civil War.

Which would make a great movie…a superhero team that films a reality show!

They could end up making a "found footage" movie and I'd probably be okay with that.
