jdandns
I wonder why they decided no "Pop Art Productions" tag for the Sgt. Fury. MR SigS

grendelbo
Closest I have follows - it would have still been on the stands when I was born. I'll need to relook at my books for more. This is a personal subgenre I've thought about pursuing. Shouldn't be too hard or expensive. This site is great for figuring out what birthday books you'll need. It's awesome for a lot more too. http://www.mikesamazingworld.com/mikes/features/newsstand.php Edited March 16, 2022 by grendelbo ADAMANTIUM and Turnando

Good point, because Roy Lichtenstein ripped off, sorry, referenced, panels from war comics in his pop art. Larryw7

I think my body realized this year is 40, and quickly swapped out all hair to grey. how are you feeling with your big year? I'm aware no one asked I was issued in 1981, July, so I'm "a year" before. The only difference that I notice, now that it has happened, is when the boards inevitably talk about the "demographic" of comic collectors. I joined the registry in 2015 and the boards in 2016, and I always saw the boards say that most collectors were then 40+ in age. Now that I am 40, when the boards reiterate, it makes me feel as though I have one foot in. Health wise, no different, other than being comfortable during the week at night to sit and watch TV. Used too, I would feel guilty and get up and do something worth my time. OH and my birthday comic.... D2, Namtak, csaag and 4 others
Popular Post Roo_Phillip
April 1965 here. Being a Spidey fan, this one is the easy favorite. I actually completed the April 1965 comic sweep a couple months ago. It took a few years to find all 126 books. 4 ACGs, 9 Archies, 21 Charltons, 27 DCs, 23 Dells, 18 Harveys, 13 Marvels, and 11 Gold Keys. It took forever to find this copy of Little Lotta in Foodland #7, which became an unlikely grail book because it was the last puzzle piece! Popular Post Qalyar
June 1979 is not ... the high point of comics publishing. I guess the "best" book that month is either X-Men 122 or Marvel Premiere 48? But I'll pick something different to feature instead. Regardless, I'm fairly sure I own zero books with a June 1979 publication date. THE_BEYONDER, Larryw7, Namtak and 6 others

Popular Post profholt82
December 82 I looked over all the books released that month, and I think these sum me up the best. I was ardently obsessed with all of these franchises throughout my childhood. And the fact that my name is Adam made He-Man extra special to me as a kid. universal soldier, csaag, WernerVonDoom and 2 others
