We stay away from moderating transactions. It's an at-your-own-risk situation. The marketplace area is an advertising venue, not a transaction processor.

 

Basically, we don't have the capacity to verify in a he-said she-said transaction dispute what really happened with the money and the goods. Since that's the case, we can't reasonably moderate it nor do we want to take on the responsibility.

 

So we'll ban people who become community disruptions because that we can see, but we don't take direct action over transactional claims. We do, however, help to publicize the member-maintained probation lists to help the community members exchange information about their experiences.
