NYCC 2014 --It's still Never to Early, Oct 9-12

Anyone start to put together a list of creators that will have exclusive cgc ss signings? as in, if I want SS, I'll have to drop it off at the cgc booth or with a facilitator to get it done.

Some of the larger shows recently have had this.

I have a ton of private signings lined up Chris if you want to make it easier on yourself. Ill be at Table L5 and L6 in artist alley.

Mcniven

Capullo

Snyder

Andy Kubert - wont be at the show but ill see them at home one of the nights

Adam Kubert - Wont be at the show but ill see them at home one of the nights

I know that NYComics has a ton lined up also with people that wont be at the show but that they will see later that weekend in the city. JRJR, JRSR, Mcfarlene and so on.

Thanks for the info. I'll send you a PM now

If looking for a hotel nearby, I was walking home yesterday and saw that this place just opened:

Might be a little pricey, but it's about a 5 minute walk (2 avenues) from Javitz, which I think is worth it - I live right by there, and going home for an hour or two on day three when its packed is worth almost any price.

I'm doing a special deal for dealers and facilitators.

$10 per book service fee. You pay the CGC fees via your CGC Dealer or CS Account, as long as you have a Credit Card on your account saved.

However, this excludes any private signing where creators are charging

Under taxi commission laws, once you cross state lines, they are allowed to charge double. The exception may be flat rate zones like Newark airport to Midtown Manhattan (sometimes it,s meter rate plus $17.50). However, you should know what you are being charged before you accept the ride.

Ask the hotel about transportation costs. Even a private car service will charge a flat rate. Try to carpool with other guests to the show.

Good luck.

Cheers!

N.

I was quoted that a taxi to North Bergen NJ was $60 each way. Even though they offer a $12 round trip bus to and from the Howard Johnson's to the city the bus may stop sooner than I planned on leaving the con/city. If anyone else is staying out that was I'd be happy to share a cab if need be to cut that cost. Just PM me if you're staying out that way so we can save some funds.

Peeps, if you are in NJ and are by the PATH train, you can take that from NJ into NY for a low price. It'll drop you off on 34th Street & 7th Ave. From there, you can walk to the con.

NJ also has buses that'll take you to 8th Ave / 42nd Street. You just need to look up bus locations and times.

Hope that helps.

I'm taking nycairporter to get from Laguardia to my room in Hell's Kitchen. Only 23 Round Trip!

Definitely cheaper than a NYC cab. You guys can also take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR - run by MTA) if you have a hotel located in Queens or Long Island:
