I have a random question for y'all. What is with the interest in DD #115 and Thor #229(going for multiples of the issues around them)? Yes, I am aware they contain ads for Hulk 181 in them. But they are touted by many on eBay as the first "preview" of Wolverine...when they are most certainly not. Since how could they be when they both have November cover dates and Hulk 180 is October. And that has not only his first full costumed appearance but it's not just an ad.

 

Considering he had already appeared in an actual story the month prior, I just don't understand the hollow fervor over an ad page.

The book has simply been unstoppable all year, in essentially all grades, with 10-50% price increases all year. And there doesn't seem to be an end in sight, particularly in 9.4 grades and down into the mid grades.

 

Not bad for a dead guy. :insane:

Gator, what is the percent breakdown of the copies you've sold, more or less, slabbed to raw?

Raw copies are tougher for me to find. Probably 85 slabbed and 9 raw
