X-Men: Apocalypse Comic-Con booth will let fans battle villain

At this year’s convention in San Diego, Fox will present the Tomb of Apocalypse X-perience, a booth inviting fans to complete a series of challenges to defeat the supervillain and win a custom X-Men: Apocalypse T-shirt and souvenir photo.

The booth (#3529) will also feature original costumes from the Bryan Singer-directed movie, including Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse, Evan Peters’ Quicksilver, and Alexandra Shipp’s Storm. The tomb will be open from July 20-24.

At both the Apocalypse booth and the Fox booth, attendees will be able to pre-order the X-Men: Apocalypse home video release. The film arrives on Digital HD on Sept. 9 and on Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, and DVD on Oct. 4, EW has learned exclusively. Those who pre-order will receive a limited-edition Dazzler vinyl cover, as glimpsed in the movie, while supplies last.

It's a reproduction of the Dazzler movie prop from the music store as a SDCC exclusive to encourage pre-orders.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE OFFERS EXCLUSIVE DAZZLER ALBUM COVER AT SDCC

X-fans can also pre-order "X-Men: Apocalypse" on Blu-ray during SDCC at the Fox booth. The first to do so will receive a limited-edition Dazzler album cover. The cover is limited, though, and will only be available while supplies last. The album cover itself was included in the movie in a deleted scene set during the teen team's romp through a mall.

Bill Sienkiewicz robbed of cash again.

Bill Sienkiewicz reveals that he was not made aware, compensated, or credited for the creation of the Dazzler - Sounds of Light and Fury cover art, which was penciled by Sienkiewicz for Dazzler #29 in 1983. Marvel is like that. When they packaged a special reprint edition of the Days Of Future Past story for the Bluray release, neither Terry Austin nor John Byrne knew anything about it. Some royalties were definitely due there since they've been getting them on other things for 30+ years.

Why did they ignore this concept art??!!

New Apocalypse X-Men Concept Art

Check out new pieces of X-Men: Apocalypse concept art of the film's villain. Artist Jared Krichevsky is responsible for the art.

"During the filming of X-Men Days of Future Past, I got to take a shot a designing Apocalypse. I loved the 90's cartoon, and Age of Apocalypse stands out as one of my favorite [X-Men] comic series. So this was a lot of fun to do," Krichevsky said.

Not the fishbowl look. But at least the massive design and scary features.
