I like this book a lot.  PRIME for undoing restoration if the winner is interested

I highly doubt it

sold for 162K + 15% buyers premium

wow !

Have they updated their website for this current auction to now include the 15% BP in their Sold Price that's being displayed?  ???

If I remember correctly, in the last Event Auction, didn't they only displayed the "hammer price" and you had to manually add in the 15% to get to the actual Sold Price?  hm  (shrug)

I don’t know, but that’s a good question

It says 186,301.15 so I guess thats including the bp. And that vintage staple sure is shiny.

Now I have a question is anybody knows and could be kind enough to answer. Can you buy new (by new I mean recently made) vintage staples and if so still get the A scale? I wouldn't think so.  Can you buy unused vintage staples that were made in the Golden Age? Or in order to still get the A scale must you use staples that came from another GA book? I wonder how or if CGC could tell or even cares if for example a book from 1940 has staples from a book from the 1950's .

I don't know the answer, but have had good luck in the "Ask CGC" forum.  They usually get back to you in a couple of days.

Yes Of course. Wrong section. I'll ask there. (thumbsu
