I wouldn't buy from a zero feedback seller myself but as you say, eBay does have the protection program.

I really want to get my copy slabbed (best guess 5.5) but i am terrified of mailing it. It's insured with CIS but every time I start getting it ready, I fail.  I also have a ASM#1 i want slabbed.  Any advice from my fellow club members??

The book should ship fine. Double box it and include the paperwork required by CGC. I just sent off my 8.0 last year to get it reslabbed (slab was a little loose). Think that was tough???

Go for it.

Show a pic of it and we'll give it our best guess.
