Screaming deal. Seller is local to me. I won some of their books when they first started handling comics. I think I should start paying attention to them again. hm

That's dirt cheap compared to recent sales.

It's a great deal for sure. Assuming if the person didn't pay by credit card and just have to pay the 13% buyer premium...so less than $8800.

Didn't catch that they had to pay a buyer's premium on top of it, but still a good deal.

Don't know about this one, but in a past auction I drove over and picked up my wins and saw other people there doing the same. Bidding through their site was a 13% BP, but a 3% discount for paying cash reduced it to 10%. I don't know whether that's still their policy.

I suppose GPA is unable to figure out who pays the full BP and who doesn't.

I called them today, 3 percent discount also applies if you send them a check, don't need to there for 3 percent discount

That is some tight grading! What a gorgeous copy. It's going to do really well.

Someone must have forgotten to bribe the graders! :baiting:

I was going to say that certainly this one would be a new record high, but then I looked at the last sale for a 6.5..... $51,070 :o and the sale before that..... $48,800 :o

6.5s are on fire. Makes me wonder what the next 7.0 will go for.

And with the 18% buyers premium... that is nearing $60K for a CGC 6.5...

Those sale prices include the buyer's premium.

OK :) But there's a good chance we will eventually see those kinds of numbers ... eventually. ;)
