8.0, 9.0, 9.4 Respectively all graded . Parting with the 8.0 as that seems to be a really sweet spot in the market and my copy has never been pressed, I don't think it would get a bump and personally I do not believe in cleaning and pressing ANY books but it adds to the value.

Haven't had this much excitement here in a long time,  surprised you havent shown up earlier

The only other board member/collector I can even think of that held a 9.4 was Storms ( but he doesn't count as he is a dealer ). Ok Metro too.

It's what i call making good decisions in life

That is a true statement, I remember the conversation I had to have with my wife after purchasing my 9.0, the same year that Storms was trying to sell the Diamond run he and Showcase shared for $100k . It was an obscene amount of money for me at the time and now it's a 1.5 price , nuts!

Some collectors were forward-thinking in always buying 1st editions of comics. Goes back to the 40s, 50s, 60s, etc. It is paying off now. The guy that purchased my 8.0 was like this. An educated economist that thought first edition comics were great investments. He bought, bought, and bought. Unfortunately, he died in an auto accident in '74.

E. Church was another one.

Church was a run builder. But yeah, he bought everything he could get his hands on.
