Great book and "gag" cover. :cloud9:

Barbara Feldon, without her, gags like the "cone of silence", might have gotten old quickly. On second thought they did, but the show went on nonetheless.

From 1955, it appears the boys grades are slightly less than stellar.

That is such a cool cover. I'll have to find a copy some day but I'm sure they're hard to come by. :cloud9:

I guess it depends on when you think the silver age began. hm

Only The Crusaders (fc588) is dated earlier than the 1st Martian Manhunter in Detective 225.

.

Not to nit pick, but most of those Four Colors are Golden age not SIlver Age

Now these are Silver age

Thanks for posting this!

I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't know that copy of Four Color/Danger Man existed. Of course, now I see it's listed in Overstreet as plain as day.

I would think Four Colors must be tough to search for. Some dealers list them by their official title - Four Color - others list them them by the character featured in that issue.

That's the problem I run into when searching for the Universal Monster issues of Movie Classics anyway.

Very nice! I really like Dell painted covers featuring Indian braves. Here are scans of my own Indian Chief comics:
