Point Five Posted October 25, 2018 Share Posted October 25, 2018 Confessions of the Lovelorn #53 IMO still has plenty of room to grow. GPA says a 4.0 sold in February for $1016... I could easily imagine the next copy eclipsing that. My copy was auctioned on ebay a couple years ago and went for $700+. The buyer returned it to the seller because a couple of little tears on inside pages (at the staples?) were not disclosed. It went back up for auction and I lucked out and got it for around $250...and the little pg. tears don't bother me... Some of the 17 had not much going for them at all, others are harder to come by and I would have liked to see them. I really hate those larger lots where they only show 3 books, and they're tiled, so you only really see the first book. The books shown, dear lonely hearts 6, the other all true romance, and romantic hearts 9 are all interesting to me and the romance stories of true love 52 has a Baker story but I was surprised at the hammer price. I assume that lots like that one are often bought by dealers looking for stock. Maybe if they were interested enough, they were able to get Heritage to provide additional details on the books.
