I never stopped to think who this Zoom could be. I saw a wild guess online that it could be the earth 2 version of Barry's dad- if I saw John Wesley Shipp in that suit running around I may just accidentally soil myself.

Zoom is probably Barry :o

 

You might be onto something there.....considering that one of Zoom's instructions besides "Kill The Flash" is "Kill your doppelganger"...as in what happened to Atom Smasher's double and almost Dr. Light's double.

I'm leaning towards either one of those two. Although originally, I never considered Barry. From a closeup of the eyelids, it would appear to be someone that is Caucasian.

But could it be the other way around too - Jay Garrick's Earth-1 double found a way to Earth-2, and this is why he always harassed him there?

Love the show and suspension of disbelief and all, but, it really irks me when you have this character that moves so fast, the majority of his adversaries could not even see him-- yet, they can somehow reach out and grab him, or aim bolts/weapons at him, and cripple him.

 

At least with kryptonite as an achilles heel, we can somewhat believe when characters utilizing it are able to plausibly provide a challenge to our hero.
