Dallas Comicon (Fan Expo Dallas) -- May 29-31, 2015

I have a VIP I'm looking to sell. I'm done with these DCC shows. Bunch of repeats and a not so great lineup...I won't attend anymore. For comics, I'll go to Alamo City and Amazing Houston.

I'm actually digging the Dallas guest list more. Comicpalooza looks good, but I wouldn't say that either show is knocking my socks off...

For me Comicpolooza having Louise and Walter, Eastman, Stan, McKone, and of course Renner and more Gothamites makes me lean more to them.

 

I will say Dallas has a lot of the young talent I have grown to love for sketch covers...soooo. yeah its a toss up by i still lean towards Comicpolooza... for now.

Very well said. I enjoy Dallas for the modern side since I mostly read moderns and Houston for all the rest. Dallas is the typical "show" nowadays IMO but my daughters love that aspect of it by admiring the abundance of cosplay. I'm really looking forward to Eastman and Jeff Smith in Houston. Not so sure I'm as excited of any creator I've seen on the Expo site thus far. Seams they are a bit dragging pulling in some of the bigger names in the modern world. May just not be pulling in my modern favorites though.

Now that North Texas is in the books it is time to start looking forward to Fan Expo. Thirty-seven days away!

Have they stalled on names for this one? I seem to see a lot of repeats being shown on there Facebook page with no new additions.

No new names for Repeat Expo Dallas and apparently they are done with comic announcements. Glad I'm skipping boring fest again.
