Popular Post Dave Henson
So the waiting begins 🤪 Sent some of my ECs to CGC and they’re scheduled for grading. 👹 The Haunt 26 is Gaines copy 8 of 12. The Tales are just pretty. Has anyone else struggled with the fact that you’re paying more to CGC than you paid for the books?!? LOL I guess that’s a good thing, and I did buy them a while back. Raze, Skunkboy, Larryw7 and 3 others

In my opinion, a perfect grade for my collection. Presents so well and affordable. But to tell the truth, it’s real hard to look at the grade. The book it’s self just grabs my attention with the great suspense, composition and colors!  Nice score! Randall Dowling, KirbyJack, conan09279 and 4 others 6

This issue used to be a sleeper (as compared to some of the other classic/gruesome EC covers), but no more - the sleeper has awakened! Congrat’s KirbyJack and Larryw7

I follow all EC titles so when A new one is listed I can see when I open eBay. I bid on two of them and was outbid really quickly. it was fun while it lasted. Can’t wait to see what they goes for. The double cover ECs closed today. As I expected, went for some big money. Any high rollers here snag any? I haven’t checked if any bidders got numerous copies. I’ll bet Jim Halperin was in the fray... Edited October 10, 2020 by Robot Man

Popular Post Dave Henson
Hats off to CGC for super quick grading (and minimizing my Click+Refreshes). Pretty happy with my EC grades 🤗   Larryw7, KirbyJack, Hutch88 and 2 others
Popular Post kccoig14
Here's an EC that probably doesn't get posted very often. I have a few horror/sci-fi EC titles that ill have to dig out so I can contribute those as well. OtherEric, Raze, Larryw7 and 3 others

Nice! The 65c version pretty much has to be from EC, not DC; although I've never seen a definitive statement on which printings came from which publisher. We love seeing pretty much any EC's here; so welcome to the thread! I noticed your avatar; we would love to see the entire Cobweb House cover over in the Comics, Pulps, and Paperbacks thread; it's become the general paperback thread in the golden age forums.  Randall Dowling, kccoig14 and Raze

Popular Post Robot Man
A new addition. I haven’t found many ECs for a while and it has been quite some time since I got a Crypt. I really like this one and the story that went with it. The colors are just so beautiful and dramatic on this one. aardvark88, OtherEric, jimjum12 and 4 others
Popular Post Robot Man
And hey, as if one wasn’t enough, I got this one a few days later. It is one of those issues printed badly with weak cyan. But the technical grade was OK, a little tough to get and a bit under what these are bringing these days. Just decided I would pull the trigger and find a better color copy down the road later. OtherEric, KirbyJack, Raze and 4 others

Dave Henson
There were several EC hardcover sets in great shape on eBay including Haunt of Fear with the slip case.  The auctions ended late last night. I set bids on most of them and felt they were fairly decent bids. Alas, I didn’t win any. 😢 But I’m in no rush. Someday!!  Larryw7, jimjum12 and Raze

Someday!!  Most of the Cochran sets are not that expensive if your watching Ebay, The real pricey one is the Haunt of Fear hardcovers with the slipcase. Their was not enough slipcases produced to enclose all the books, so lots of people watching for complete HOF sets.
Robot Man
I was a little surprised to see what VOH and TFTC brought. Didn’t notice HOF. I put up my sets of WS, WF and WSF up for sale and they didn’t bring anything close. Horror is hot. I recently completed my originals of HOF. Maybe I should sell my hardbound set. What did it sell for? Dave Henson and Raze
