They’ve been at it for a couple of years, and the first EC one was the one with TFTC 22 on the cover. There were 2 PFTC releases prior to that with non-EC label art OtherEric

Popular Post Hap Hazard
Thought I would through out this Info Commercial for Comic Fest this weekend in San Diego, EC related will be having two panels on EC comics. One on Bill Gaines, celebrating his 100th birthday and another panel on the history of EC. Panels hosted by EC Fan-Addict Supreme Thommy Burns, admin for the Facebook page of the same name. Will be a lot of fun discussing all things EC. Any questions about Comic Fest go to their Web Site, small show but lots of fun. Got a solid copy at actually a decent price. Point Five and conan09279
Popular Post goldust40
Last night on Heritage an Impact 1 in 5.0 went for $1300, which is over five times what that book last sold for in that grade. Some new recognition for Krigstein, no doubt. Larryw7, Weird, OtherEric and 5 others
KirbyJack
Wow. It seems like Heritage is the first to see those kinds of price spikes in the market. It's hard for me to imagine mid-grade copies of that book consistently fetching a grand plus, but I guess it's a new world. goldust40, Raze, OtherEric and 1 other

But to a certain degree I think it’s overdue… “Master Race” is one of the very few serious candidates for the title of best comic stories ever, and the book has been vastly underrated for decades. With that said, I think the jump to four figures for a mid-grade copy is probably too much too fast and we may not see another in that range for a few more years. goldust40, Raze, KirbyJack and 3 others 5

To be fair most of the higher grade copies (8.0 and up) have no documented sales in some years, so if they came to the market I'm sure they would exceed that price. Nevertheless, it's not what I expected (at all) as it was only on about $80 or so before it came up for the live auction. The market continues to surprise... While I don’t think they should be equal I think this issue has been unfairly left behind as the 22 skyrocketed. originalisbest, IngelsFan, Raze and 5 others
