Popular Post Illustrious
Issue #24 is my personal favorite TFTC cover because on my 12th birthday in 1991, my parents bought me a copy of Les Daniels book "Marvel: Five Fabulous Decades of the World's Greatest Comics", and there was a chapter in there on Marvel shifting to horror comics in the Fifties that also had some pictures of E.C. Comics, one of which was TFTC #24. Seeing that zombie cover always stuck with me, and I knew one day I would have to have a copy of that issue for myself. Here's the panel from the book in question: Point Five, KirbyJack, grendelbo and 4 others 6

Here's the panel from the book in question: I gravitated to #23 for the same reason. I had a handful of ECs very early on in my collecting journey. I loved them but they were hard to find at garage sales, flea markets and used book stores. (The only way to find old comics at the time. My girlfriend in high school bought me that large hardback EC reprint book as a gift. #23 was on the DJ. It just absolutely creeped me out. I searched for years for a copy. I now have several of them and is a sentimental favorite. OtherEric, grendelbo, Larryw7 and 3 others

You will never get any hassle from me posting early MAD mags. And yes, I consider them ECs as well. OtherEric and Raze 1
Popular Post fifties
Yup, my TFTC 23 & 24, bought ages ago, are my two favorites of the title. My VOH 13 & TOT 2 run a close second. I'm partial as this book was my earliest EC, but IMO it's the first horrific cover of the New Trend. Popular Post Ghastly542454
With the arrival of Crime Suspenstories #15 and Crime Suspenstories #23 back last week from CGC, I now have a complete graded run of all 28 issues of EC’s Crime Suspenstories! Now you’re probably wondering what I’m talking about because most people think there are only 27 issues! According to the CGC Registry in order to have a complete run of you need to have Crime Suspenstories #15 (#1) blocked out in indicia plus Crime Suspenstories #1-#27. Crime Suspenstories #15 (#1) blocked out in indicia is a pretty rare book on the CGC Census. There are only 8 of them. Although I’m nowhere close to being highest in the Registry, I am the only person with a complete 100% run. When I sold the majority of my ECs, I kept a handful of what I thought were definitive examples. HOF 18 was among them. As I said, different day; different list, so Haunt of Fear 18 is now Officially in! Robot Man, Raze, grendelbo and 5 others
