1.0 for the reasons stated above. Now if it had brittle pages I'd go .5.

 

I think the pages are alright. It is one of the things that worries me about the book. I could put some resto into it and make it a much nicer copy, but if the pages came back brittle or even cream it would really hurt.

 

Tough call…

 

Thanks for all the grades people. It looks like .5 is winning out, which is sort of my thought.

Hi Chris,

Obviously it's your book and your decision.

If it was mine I would do the research needed to find out the cost of restoration and how much of a bump that would receive in grade after. That will tell me if the money spent is worth the return.

Of course if you just want it for your personal collection and enjoyment, the restoration cost may not be that important. Just one persons opinion. :foryou:
